Statement of Purpose
Ottawa Residential Services was incorporated in 1976 for the purpose of planning, acquiring and developing affordable, safe and secure housing for persons with developmental disabilities. In 1998 the Board of Directors expanded its purpose to include the acquisition or development of affordable housing for persons of low income, or who are otherwise disadvantaged.
Who are we
Ottawa Residential Services is a non-profit corporation which acquires and manages housing for persons who are in need of quality, affordable housing.
Currently, we own and manage ninety-six units of housing in Ottawa County, with a capacity to provide housing for two hundred tenants.
We have evolved over a twenty year period from a provider of group home services to a developer/manager of affordable housing opportunities for persons of low to moderate income, or otherwise disadvantaged.
We are committed to coordinating our efforts with other organizations to expand affordable housing opportunities in the most efficient manner possible. We are equally committed to partnering with all segments of the community to develop and manage properties consistent with the highest quality standards in the industry.
